FINALLY!

After 3 painful years and a few weeks, my braces FINALLY came off! I have been waiting for this moment since the day I got them on. It was one of the most painful, hard experiences I've ever dealt with. Pathetic, I know, but I have a low pain tolerance and the work that my orthodontist had to do in my mouth was pretty tough. He told me that my situation was the worst he ever had to deal with, and told me that I did a great job and took good care of my teeth. That was a HUGE blessing!
I have been smiling so much lately, and I've been nothing but happy. I've been thanking God for putting me through that because if He hadn't, I wouldn't have these beautiful teeth! :) I have been told that I was always beautiful, but I have begun to feel that about myself for the past few months, and especially now. This milestone is probably one of my absolute FAVORITES :)

Long Overdue Post

Wow! I haven't written since February! My life has gotten a little bit crazy and I started a blog on Wordpress, but I decided to come back and visit this old blog. There have been many things that have happened over the course of this year and I'd like to share them :)

• Turning 17 & Passing Segment 2- Those two came hand-in-hand. (Meaning, they were in the same week.) I had had a fantastic SURPRISE birthday and the next week I had Segment 2. I got a perfect score on the test, shockingly. It was pretty exciting! 
• Getting all A's in school for my junior year.
• Working at Barakel- I was BLESSED to be able to work at Barakel again. It was an incredible learning experience! 
• Going on my first few double dates- Since my parents don't like me and my boyfriend going out alone together, we are allowed to go on group dates.. which we still consider dates. They were with his brother and his fiance'. It's pretty awesome! 
• Passing my road test and getting my license- Waited for this moment for so long! Can't believe it really happened.
• My best friend came home from college in NYC to surprise me for fall break! 
• Next week, October 21st, I will be getting my braces off! (So excited!)
• In a few weeks, my first year anniversary with my boyfriend is coming up! Very excited.

God has done an infinite amount of things for me this year. I couldn't be more blessed by all these little things. They may not seem interesting, but to me... it is! I'll try to write more soon! But I have to get schoolwork done. So, until then..... See ya!
